The Quanta EVO Duetto
The Quanta EVO Duetto is a medical-grade laser platform by Quanta System, an Italian manufacturer with a long history in aesthetic laser technology. Like the Clarity II, it uses Alexandrite 755nm and Nd:YAG 1064nm wavelengths. Its key feature is the proprietary Mixed Technology®, which allows both wavelengths to fire simultaneously in a single pulse rather than alternating between them.
In certain cases, this simultaneous emission can be a useful tool — particularly for clients with some specific hair and skin combinations. Our practitioners assess each client individually to determine when it's the right fit.
Three Emission Modes
What sets the Quanta EVO Duetto apart is the ability to choose how the two wavelengths are delivered. Our practitioners can select the mode that's most appropriate for your skin tone, hair type, and treatment area.
Single Emission
One wavelength is used at a time, either Alexandrite 755nm or Nd:YAG 1064nm, depending on what's most appropriate for your skin tone and hair type. Ideal when a straightforward, focused approach is optimal.
Sequential Emission
Both wavelengths are delivered one after the other in rapid succession within the same treatment pass. This builds on the strengths of each wavelength while still keeping energy levels precise and controlled.
Mixed Emission Unique to Quanta
Both wavelengths fire simultaneously in a single pulse, with the proportion of each wavelength fully adjustable. This is particularly effective for fine or lightly pigmented hairs on darker skin tones. This addresses a traditionally difficult combination.

What is the Quanta EVO Duetto's Mixed Technology®?
Mixed Technology® allows the Quanta EVO Duetto to fire both the Alexandrite 755nm and Nd:YAG 1064nm wavelengths simultaneously in a single pulse. The proportion of each wavelength can be adjusted per treatment. It's a useful option in select cases and is available at our clinic for clients where our practitioners determine it's the right approach.
Can the Clarity II treat all hair colours?
The Clarity II works best on dark hair, where melanin in the hair shaft absorbs the laser energy most efficiently. Light, grey, or very fine hair may respond less predictably. During your consultation, we'll assess your hair colour and let you know what results to realistically expect.
How long does treatment take?
It depends on the area. Small zones like the upper lip take around 5–10 minutes; larger areas like the legs or back can run 30–60 minutes. The Clarity II's IntelliTrak™ technology is specifically designed to maximize coverage speed without sacrificing consistency, which keeps sessions as efficient as possible. Your practitioner will give you a realistic time estimate during your consultation.
