Can laser remove grey or white hair?
Unfortunately, no. Laser hair removal works by targeting the melanin (pigment) in the hair follicle. Grey and white hair has little to no melanin, which means the laser has nothing to lock onto. This is one of the most important things to discuss at your consultation so we can be upfront about which areas are suitable for treatment and which are not.
Important: Results vary by individual and depend on factors such as hair colour, hair thickness, skin tone, hormones, treatment area, and consistency with the recommended treatment schedule. Grey and white hair cannot be treated with laser. Because laser targets melanin (pigment) in the hair, grey or white hair does not respond to treatment. Please mention this during your consultation so we can assess which areas are suitable for you.
