Clients age 16 to 17 require parental consent. A parent or guardian must attend the consultation and first appointment.

Bikini and Brazilian laser may be considered for clients age 16 to 17 after consultation, consent and an individual review of comfort, maturity, skin, hair and treatment suitability.

Every new laser client completes a free consultation and mandatory test patch before the first full treatment.

What Aroma reviews before recommending treatment

Hair and skin

Hair colour, thickness and density must be suitable, and the current skin tone and recent tanning are assessed.

Hormones and timing

Hair patterns may still change. Starting now may make sense for some clients, while waiting may be better for others.

Readiness and expectations

The client must understand preparation, aftercare, appointment spacing and that results vary.

Preparation for a first laser appointment

Keep the root in place

Do not wax, sugar, tweeze, thread, epilate or use depilatory creams for four weeks before treatment.

Shave and protect the skin

Shave about 24 hours before. Avoid sun, tanning beds and self-tanner for two weeks, and arrive with clean, product-free skin.

Technology and locations

Bloor uses Clarity II with Mary. Yonge uses the Quanta System Duetto MT EVO with Stanka and Enza. Both systems offer 755 nm Alexandrite and 1064 nm Nd:YAG options. Aroma does not present one system as better than the other.
