Sometimes, but only after the required consultation and test patch, when the technician is satisfied with your skin response and the area is prepared. Recent tanning, medication, irritation, waxing, sugaring, plucking, threading, or another safety concern may require us to postpone the full treatment.

Yes. A test patch is required for new laser clients before the first full treatment. It is normally completed once, and the waiting time before full treatment is decided case by case according to your skin response and the technician's assessment.

Avoid tanning and strong sun exposure, stop waxing, sugaring, plucking, or threading the area for about four weeks, shave the area 24 hours before if same-day treatment may be considered, and arrive with clean skin. Tell us about medications, skin conditions, retinol, acids, peels, recent treatments, tattoos, moles, and previous laser reactions.

We will tell you honestly. Treatment may be postponed or declined for active irritation, open skin, recent burns, unresolved pigmentation injury, recent tanning, certain medications, recent waxing, or other safety concerns. We may also recommend medical clearance when needed.

A typical initial series is about six to seven sessions, although the exact plan varies by hair colour, hair thickness, hormones, treatment area, skin tone, and consistency. Facial areas are commonly spaced about four weeks apart and body areas about six weeks apart.

Book a consultation when approximately 20% to 30% of treatable hair has returned. Most clients do not need their first touch-up for about two to four years. Hormonal areas, facial hair, and PCOS-related growth may require maintenance as early as every six to twelve months.

Appointments are recommended at both Bloor and Yonge. Walk-in consultations are welcome when a laser technician and private room are available.
