Underarms are one of the simplest laser areas to maintain
The area is small, appointments are usually brief and the difference can be noticeable in an everyday shaving routine.
Underarm laser targets suitable pigmented hair to reduce regrowth over a series of appointments. Many clients choose it because shaving can leave quick stubble, irritation or a visible hair shadow.
Laser may improve shadow caused by hair beneath the skin and may reduce one common trigger for ingrowns. It does not treat every cause of dark underarm pigmentation, so we keep expectations realistic.
Arrive with clean underarms and no deodorant, antiperspirant, oil or other product. After treatment, wait until the skin feels calm before reapplying deodorant and follow your practitioner's instructions.

We review skin tone, tanning, Fitzpatrick type, hair colour and thickness, medications, health history, tattoos, moles and previous reactions.

Mandatory test patch
Every new client receives a test patch before the first full treatment. The waiting period is decided case by case.

Prepare correctly
Shave about 24 hours before, keep the roots in place for 4 weeks, avoid tanning for 2 weeks and arrive product-free.

Recheck every visit
Current skin tone, recent tanning, irritation, medication changes and treatment response are reviewed before each session.
Do not stop prescribed medication on your own. Tell Aroma about antibiotics,
photosensitizing medication, acne medication, recent procedures, irritation,
tattoos, moles or health changes.

Do not apply deodorant, antiperspirant, body oil or active skincare before the appointment.
Reduce friction afterward
For 24 to 48 hours, avoid heavy sweating, tight clothing and repeated rubbing while the skin settles.

Laser can reduce suitable hair and hair-related shadow, but it is not a treatment for every pigmentation concern.

What to expect across the treatment series
Many clients begin with about 6 to 7 sessions, usually around 6 weeks apart.
Results vary with hair colour, thickness, density, hormones, skin and consistency.
Shedding takes time
Treated hairs may shed over roughly 7 to 21 days. Do not pull, wax or tweeze them out.
Keep the skin cool
For 24 to 48 hours, avoid strong heat, heavy exercise, excessive sweating, scrubs, swimming and chlorine.
Shave between sessions
Once the skin is calm, shaving is allowed. Do not wax, sugar, tweeze, thread or epilate between appointments.
