Arm hair can change in colour and thickness from the forearms to the upper arms, so each section is assessed separately.
Lower Arms + Hands treats from around the elbow through the hands and fingers. Upper Arms treats the area from the shoulder to around the elbow. Full Arms + Hands combines both areas.
Hands and fingers may also be booked on their own. When only part of the arm is treated, we discuss the boundary so the finished reduction does not create an abrupt-looking transition.
Laser responds best to suitable pigmented hair. Very light blonde, white, grey or red hair may not respond reliably, and fine upper-arm hair must be assessed carefully before treatment.

Every new Aroma laser client follows the same safety process before a full session.
We review skin tone, tanning, Fitzpatrick type, hair colour and thickness, medications, health history, tattoos, moles and previous reactions.
Every new client receives a test patch before the first full treatment. The waiting period is decided case by case.
Shave about 24 hours before, keep the roots in place for 4 weeks, avoid tanning for 2 weeks and arrive product-free.
Current skin tone, recent tanning, irritation, medication changes and treatment response are reviewed before each session.
Upper-arm hair can be finer than forearm hair, so colour and thickness are checked before a plan is recommended.
When treating only lower or upper arms, the treatment edge is discussed so the transition looks intentional.
Arms receive frequent incidental sun. Avoid sun, tanning and self-tanner for 2 weeks before treatment.
Many clients begin with about 6 to 7 sessions, usually around 6 weeks apart. Results vary with hair colour, thickness, density, hormones, skin and consistency.
Treated hairs may shed over roughly 7 to 21 days. Do not pull, wax or tweeze them out.
For 24 to 48 hours, avoid strong heat, heavy exercise, excessive sweating, scrubs, swimming and chlorine.
Once the skin is calm, shaving is allowed. Do not wax, sugar, tweeze, thread or epilate between appointments.
Both clinics assess suitability and customize settings. The systems are different, but Aroma does not rank one as better than the other.
