Hair needs enough length for the wax to grip. Avoid shaving right before your appointment.
Arrive clean and dry
Fresh, dry skin helps the wax work better. Avoid heavy lotion or oils on the underarm area.
Skip deodorant right before
Deodorant can make the area harder to wax and may irritate sensitive skin.

After waxing, wait 24 hours before using deodorant and avoid fragrance, hot showers, saunas, and heavy workouts while the skin settles.
